The Grand Inauguration of our 31st Showroom was Cheered, Greeted and Supported by the people of Virudhunagar. Honr. VVS.Yogan, Director of IcanD-a rapidly growing IT company, opened the showroom. Mrs. Rajamallika Yogan, Mrs. Ellora Muthumani, Mrs. Athirstam Ashokan, Mrs. Jamunarani Narayanaswamy, Mrs. Uma Maheswari, Mrs. Malarvizhi Muthu lit the KuthuVilakku and Honr. C.Shanmugapriya made the first sale.

Virudhunagar is a major business town and it is the capital of Virudhunagar District located at a distance of 45 Kms South-West of Madurai. This place was once referred to as ‘Virudhupatti’. In the beginning of 20th century A.D., Virudhupatti was one among the six important places of Ramanathapuram District. Due to the rapid growth in the field of trade and education, it was renamed as ‘Virudhunagar’ on 29th October 1923. The term ‘Virudhu’ means ‘Award’ in Tamil. Our Late Ex- Chief Minister Kamarajar(1954-63), who owned the unique title “King Maker – Karma Veerar” hailed from this town and made his motherland proud of him.
